Entrepreneurship is exciting! And entrepreneurs do cool things!

Entrepreneurs are the people in our communities that are taking action to shape our future. They are solving problems, building new things, and creating jobs. With all of the challenges that are facing our world, we need entrepreneurs now more than ever.

But entrepreneurship is tough. It can be lonely and hard, with lots of challenges along the way. We wanted to use our unique experience to make the legal piece easy for entrepreneurs, in the hopes that they will be able to channel more of their energy to what they do best.

We help entrepreneurs in Canada.

But we use the word “entrepreneur” broadly. To us, an entrepreneur is anyone who sees an opportunity or an issue and who takes action on it. Entrepreneurs are business leaders as much as they are leaders of charities and non-profits.

We started with corporate records because that is the legal foundation of every enterprise (whether it be a business, a non-profit, or otherwise). 

At its core, the Tobuso platform is a digital minute book in the cloud, which makes it easy for entrepreneurs to keep their records centralized and organized. From that base, it becomes easier to keep records up-to-date and to take care of regular business. As we roll out new tools there will be more and more benefits to the enterprises on the platform.  

The platform is designed to be used as a DIY tool or by lawyers (or other professionals, like accountants) to help their entrepreneurial clients.

Tobuso originally stood for “Toronto Business Solutions”.

But really, it was a made-up name that made it easier to get started (because we didn’t have to compete with any existing businesses for domain space or social media presence).
