7-Step Process

How It Works

1

Jurisdiction

You choose where you want to incorporate: Tobuso supports incorporations and extraprovincial registrations in the following jurisdictions: federal (Canada), Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, and Saskatchewan.

2

Name

You start by choosing a name for your company; then search a national database to see whether the name is already taken. If not, it can be reserved for you.

3

Incorporation

An incorporation application is completed based on the information you have, and submitted to the appropriate government agency.

4

Organizing

Corporations are obligated to carry out post-incorporation organizing steps, including initial shareholder and director resolutions, passing by-laws, and more.

5

Extra-Provincial Registration

If you incorporate a federal (Canada) corporation, or if you plan on carrying on business in a province other than the jurisdiction of incorporation, then you must register your company to carry out business in such province(s).

6

Digital Minute Book Creation

Tobuso develops your digital Minute Book, accessible 24/7 on our secure, cloud-based platform. Tobuso make it easy for you and those you trust (lawyers, accountants, etc.) to review it any time.

7

Completion

When all the steps are complete, Tobuso provides you with your digital Minute Book, as well as a brief User’s Manual explaining how to use and maintain your corporation.
